With that said, I continue to ask. What in the world is the US doing when it tries to push Russia into an impossible situation in terms of NATO expansion and sanctions. Russia (unlike the US with 100’s of overseas bases) doesn’t have any imperial ambitions outside of the former Soviet Republics and should be left alone.
